Operations Manager - Electrical Testing Group

About the Role

Seeking an entrepreneurial Operations Manager to lead the expansion of an Electrical Testing Group (ETG) business unit. This role involves building a new business unit from scratch, including recruiting and training staff, and collaborating with leadership to align vision, translate goals, and ensure operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to shape a new business, lead technical teams, and contribute to a growing national presence within a stable, employee-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies
• Lead a technical team in testing, commissioning, and system integration
• Manage P&L, resource planning, quality, safety, and project delivery
• Build client relationships and vendor partnerships
• Drive business growth, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction
• Lead team development and ensure cohesive function
• Maintain safety, quality, and technical standards
• Manage local operations aligned with company vision and KPIs
• Implement systems, processes, and KPIs within an EOS framework

Qualifications

• 7+ years in power systems testing, commissioning, or utility operations
• Proven leadership managing teams, budgets, and projects
• Strong knowledge of protective relaying, automation, and SCADA
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build structure from the ground up
• Excellent communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills

Experience with EOS or similar systems is preferred.
