Operations Manager Dedicated

Position Summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Dedicated Operations Manager to manage a dedicated customer's account, hire drivers, and develop a full-service solution. The Dedicated Division offers a unique regional truckload alternative within the Northeast, supporting businesses in achieving their supply chain goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and managing scheduling for a dedicated customer
• Being available and on call for Pyle driver and customer needs, requiring availability during PM hours
• Building dynamic routing using our routing software (must be comfortable learning this system)
• Optimizing the schedule daily and or as needed
• Holding an onsite presence at the customer’s location(s) – building and developing a strong relationship
• Pricing and scheduling deliveries; working cross-functionally within Pyle to service the account and grow the business

Requirements

• Previous transportation management experience in a dedicated environment preferred
• Experience with load planning and driver management
• Proficiency with computers, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to be on-call during driver work hours
• Understanding and knowledge of DOT regulations
• Effective communication and customer service skills with the ability to represent the Company in a positive, professional manner
• Strong organizational skills
