Operations Manager

About the Role

The Operations Manager oversees all roofing production activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project completion. This hands-on leader manages field and production teams, supports subcontracted crews, and maintains operational consistency to enhance customer satisfaction and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and standards compliance
• Manage and develop production staff, including install managers and subcontracted crews
• Serve as primary contact for customer issues and satisfaction
• Troubleshoot operational, scheduling, quality, and profitability concerns
• Collaborate on job planning, capacity, and operational priorities
• Oversee workflows, job costing, reporting, and logistics
• Maintain safety standards, operational procedures, and quality expectations
• Support continuous improvement and represent the company at industry events

Requirements

• 5+ years in roofing, construction, or production management
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing teams and schedules
• Proficiency with operational software
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing subcontracted crews
• Understanding of production metrics and job costing

Pay

Salary range of $90,000–$110,000 plus performance incentives.
