About The Role
The Operations Manager sits at the intersection of business strategy and execution, designing and scaling the systems that keep distributed teams running efficiently. This role is responsible for eliminating operational drag, refining cross-functional collaboration mechanisms, and building robust internal infrastructure. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role partners closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to standardize workflows, drive resource planning, and translate high-level business goals into concrete operational plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) across cross-functional departments to reduce cycle times and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Administer and optimize the internal tooling stack, including Jira, Notion, and Slack, to ensure seamless information flow and data integrity
- Establish, track, and report on key operational performance metrics and SLAs, building dashboards in Tableau or Looker to surface trends to leadership
- Manage vendor relationships, software procurement processes, and contract renewals to align SaaS spend with budget targets
- Lead weekly and monthly syncs across product and operations teams to monitor project health, resolve resource constraints, and unblock execution bottlenecks
- Facilitate risk management and compliance audits across internal software deployment workflows
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of operations management, program management, or management consulting experience, ideally within a high-growth technology environment
- Proven expertise in process mapping and optimization using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma
- Advanced technical proficiency with modern project management software (Asana, Jira, Linear) and relational database or BI tools (SQL, Looker, Excel)
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a track record of driving alignment among diverse engineering and business stakeholders
Bonus: PMP or Scrum Master certification, experience with automation tools like Zapier or Make, or familiarity with SOC2 compliance frameworks
