About the Opportunity

The Operations Manager oversees operations, budgeting, service delivery, projects, client relationships, health and safety, and emergency preparedness for an assigned portfolio. The role focuses on leading or supporting teams to drive operational efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining safe and reliable facility operations.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve efficiencies by recommending and implementing best practices and sustainable initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement facility-related programs.
  • Resolve conflicts and maintain open communication with clients, providing regular reports.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for facility-related issues.
  • Gather client feedback to enhance processes and promote best practices.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage moderate to large portfolios or facilities of moderate to high complexity.
  • Evaluate capital assets and contribute to budgeting recommendations.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to align operations with annual strategies.
  • Proactively resolve service delivery issues and optimize processes.
  • Develop and administer reporting tools and operating procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental, health, safety, and building standards.
  • Execute emergency preparedness, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate with Safety and Security teams to maintain health and safety compliance.
  • Manage budgets and expenses in coordination with finance teams.
  • Career development and professional growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience managing operations within real estate or facilities management.
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Budget management and financial collaboration experience.
  • Skills in project coordination and service delivery optimization.

Pay Range and Compensation Package
