Operations Manager

About the role

Join Pretium Packaging at our facility in Manchester, Pennsylvania as an on-site Operations Manager. Seeking bilingual candidates; the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Share responsibility for the overall performance of the plant, including safety, productivity, quality, financial performance, and team leadership.
• Drive production performance to meet customer demand and shipping commitments.
• Improve productivity and efficiency through Lean manufacturing principles.
• Increase OEE through effective monitoring of equipment and labor utilization.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, GMP, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades and capital investments.
• Partner cross-functionally to support new product launches and process improvements.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with injection molding and packaging is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Experience improving productivity, cost performance, and operational metrics
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems
