Position Summary The Operations Manager oversees daily operations and leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role requires strong leadership, knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, and a proven ability to drive teams toward achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals. The position requires adaptability and a strong execution mindset to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding PE-backed company at a new production facility. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently met.Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals, integrating Lean principles.Monitor operational KPIs and lead teams to meet or exceed targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost.Communicate performance results and improvement plans to leadership and functional teams. Lean Manufacturing & Process Improvement Lead Lean initiatives such as MDI, 5S, Kaizen, value-stream mapping, and root‑cause analysis.Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement activities focused on reducing waste and increasing value creation.Implement standardized work, visual management, and workflow optimization.Use data-driven methods to improve productivity, reduce costs, and sustain operational gains. Team Management & Performance Leadership Lead, mentor, and coach operations staff to achieve high performance and meet KPI expectations.Establish clear performance goals and hold team members accountable through structured reviews, feedback, and coaching.Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless operations and business priorities. Required Qualifications & Requirements: BS degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in operations, production, or plant management.Demonstrated experience applying Lean manufacturing principles in a production or operational environment.Experience leading teams to achieve KPIs and operational performance goals.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.Proficiency with ERP systems, operational software, and data analysis tools. Preferred Experience in establishing new manufacturing lines and process flow.Experience in high‑volume manufacturing or HVAC industryAdvanced degree (MBA, MS Operations, etc.). Key Competencies Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively across departments.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.Hands-on approach with a passion for workforce development.
