Operations Manager
About the role
In this role, you will ensure plant operations are conducted safely and responsibly, maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies and Linde policies.
Schedule production of cylinder gases to meet customer requirements, maintaining stock levels and monitoring raw material deliveries.
Drive productivity to maximize plant capabilities and operational efficiency.
Ensure proper appearance, image, and security of the facility and equipment and provide job training and support employee career development, supervising personnel fairly to foster motivation and empowerment.
Manage employee activities, conduct thorough accident/incident investigations, and complete all required reports accurately.
Support distribution of products efficiently, interacting professionally with internal and external customers.
Respond to emergency calls and conduct monthly safety meetings, assisting in SOP implementation and monitoring asset usage.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is preferred; high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least three (3) years of experience leading and developing employees.
- Production / distribution experience required; industrial gas industry or equivalent experience preferred for this role.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of cylinder gases and processes of each.
- Knowledgeable in all regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft applications, Lotus Notes and CU.

Pay
$75,000 - $90,000
