What this job involves
- Providing daily leadership and direction for the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety systems.
- Developing and maintaining positive client relationships while managing conflict resolution and solution analysis.
- Managing contract compliance and quality control oversight, and overseeing JLL's Engineering compliance program.
- Preparing detailed budgets for the Facility Manager as requested and generating regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Handling time approvals, creating performance reviews, managing team performance, establishing goal-setting initiatives, and leading team OCP programs.
- Problem-solving and partnering with JLL resources to support the team effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 years of trade experience or 3 years of engineering experience.
- Experience as a people manager of hourly technicians.
- Strong communication and administrative skills.
- Effective use of computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to use the internet to navigate and use web-based applications.
- Knowledge of English language structure and content, including vocabulary, spelling, composition, and grammar.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting, standing, reaching, and lying down for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced facility management certifications.
- Experience with CMMS platforms.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial facility operations.
