About the role
The Operations Manager keeps the technology organization running smoothly by owning internal processes, tooling, and cross-functional coordination that enable engineering and product teams to execute efficiently. The role involves identifying operational bottlenecks, designing scalable workflows, and driving complex technical projects from planning stages to measurable outcomes across distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve core operational processes, documenting clear workflows and standard operating procedures using Notion and Jira
- Coordinate cross-functional technical projects, tracking timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to completion
- Analyze operational metrics in SQL and Looker to identify system bottlenecks and drive efficiency improvements
- Manage internal tooling, software licenses, and vendor relationships that support day-to-day engineering operations
- Report on operational KPIs, resource utilization, and surface execution risks to leadership
Requirements
- 4-7 years of operations, technical project management, or program management experience in a fast-paced technology environment
- Strong analytical and process-design skills; highly proficient with SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and coordinate across engineering, product, and finance teams
- Track record of shipping internal process improvements with measurable impact on team velocity
Skills
- Bonus: PMP certification, prior hands-on software engineering background, or experience scaling remote-first engineering teams
