About the role
The Service Department runs the revenue engine of DuraServ. You are the Architect, overseeing day-to-day operations, project execution, budget management, and team development.
Responsibilities
- Schedule technicians, dispatch work orders, manage backlog, and coordinate service calls with precision.
- Oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage fleet planning and maintenance, including DVIRs, DOT compliance, and cost control.
- Develop and execute individual development plans for team members, driving retention and performance.
- Monitor and drive department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), improving efficiency and quality continuously.
- Partner with branch sales leadership to meet revenue commitments and customer expectations.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external customers, serving as the operational escalation point.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience managing people and developing professionals.
- At least 5+ years of experience in service operations, field service management, or a related operational leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage department budgets, control costs, and drive financial performance.
- Working knowledge of fleet management and DOT compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 for reporting, scheduling, and operational analysis.
- Valid driver's license for job site visits and 10% travel.
Preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- An associate or bachelor's degree.
- Experience with technician scheduling, dispatch, and work order management systems.

This is NOT a remote or hybrid role. On-site leadership presence is required.
