Job Skills / Requirements

• SCOPE: Operations Managers are responsible for leading and managing contract and temporary security contracts in their assigned region.
• REQUIREMENTS: Enthusiastic and energetic individual with experience in leadership or supervisory positions, strong communication, organization, and relationship building skills. Flexible work schedule, some light traveling, and field work are part of the role. Must have a Concealed Pistols License.
• SCHEDULE: 1st shift Monday-Friday, with flexible availability for 40+ hours per week.
• PERKS: Starting salary at $47,000, including site pay for billable coverage beyond normal working hours (8:30am to 5pm).

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Oversee client relationships, ensure site visits, employee outfitting, and maintain positive relationships with employees. Complete performance-based written appraisals and implement disciplinary actions.
• Client Relations: Work in a billable capacity, maintain training compliance, and recruit the highest quality workforce. Manage temporary accounts, overtime, payroll, site visits, staff meetings, equipment and uniforms, incident reports, and on-call availability.
• Recruiting: Coordinate with Human Resources to recruit and deploy the workforce.
• Temporary Accounts: Oversee temporary assignments in the designated region.
• Business Development: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• MORAL CHARACTER: Good moral character with no felony or misdemeanor convictions related to criminal or sexual conduct, theft, assault, or crimes of moral turpitude.
• Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or Business Administration from an accredited college or university, with a concentration in Security Management preferred.
• Prior Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience as a security manager or above in government or corporate service.
• License: Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL) and LEOSA Credential.
• Personal Attributes: Above average customer service skills, friendly, positive, professional appearance, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to perform basic math calculations, proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• All: High School Diploma or GED.
