Operations Manager
About the role
The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team, supporting the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store. Key responsibilities include overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation; sales and inventory management; employee staffing, training, and development; financial management; and customer service leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with actions plans for operational and service improvement
- Manage, supervise, and direct activities of the store's crew
- Communicate information to store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner
- Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
- Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank)
Requirements
Essential functions include managing and leading others, working effectively with store crews, supervising, assigning, and directing activities; communicating information; and supporting the Store Manager with operational and service improvement plans. Leadership, supervision, and influencing skills are required, along with deductive reasoning, advanced analytical, and computer skills.
Qualifications
- Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills
- Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills
- Experience as a retail manager or supervisor preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay
The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $24.29 - $38.29. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
