Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team, fulfilling the company purpose of helping people on their path to better health by driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Operations Manager maintains an engaged, productive store team through strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store, including overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation.
• Manage sales and inventory.
• Oversee employee staffing, training, and development.
• Handle financial management.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Lead and work effectively with store crews, supervising, assigning, and directing activities.
• Communicate information to store crew and supervisors openly and timely.
• Support the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank).

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, and to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $19.00 - $29.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
