Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team, fulfilling the company's mission of helping people on their path to better health by driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store
• Maintain an engaged, productive store team through strong leadership, demonstrating initiative and leading by example
• Manage, supervise, and implement policies for the store's crew
• Assign and direct activities of the store's crew
• Communicate information to the store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner
• Work with the Store Manager to develop action plans for operational and service improvements
• Aid customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
• Promote the CVS customer service culture

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills
• Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills

• Experience as a retail manager or supervisor preferred but not required

The typical pay range for this role is $19.00 - $29.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
