Operations Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Hiring, terminating, scheduling, training and continued development of support staff, including front desk, maintenance and kids crunch
- Conduct a minimum of 3 daily club walk throughs to ensure the club maintains high standards of cleanliness
- Aid in the collection of member payments
- Achieve the highest level of customer service with all member interactions and touch points
- Assist in the execution of all company and club initiatives
- Meet deadlines for all company reports and directives
- Handle member concerns as it relates to constructive feedback regarding operations, contract requests, such as freezes, cancellations, and billing
- Operate company tracking and operating systems
- Report all equipment and facility issues by utilizing company procedures
- Ensure visible maintenance items have proper signage posted
- Train opening and closing managers to prepare club for operations readiness
- Execute the processing/submission and approval of payroll
- Manage employee relation matters such as time and attendance, professional conduct and work performance
- Establish controls of expenses and purchasing of club supplies and maintain at or below budget
- Follow up for quick turnaround of items in disrepair
- Communicate effectively with above club personnel
- Communicate effectively by holding weekly and individual meetings with all key club personnel
Requirements
At least one year club/gym experience preferred
At least one year management experience preferred
Fluent in English (proficient reading and writing skills)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to successfully multi-task
