Operations Manager 1, Multi-Service

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager I – Multi Service to support a manufacturing client in Lima, OH. This role oversees soft services across three large buildings, including daily operations, service quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Manage environmental services, grounds, pest control, contracted services, ordering, inventory, and cost control. The manager will ensure consistent service delivery, efficient resource use, and strong operational performance across all three buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for two or more core service areas at a client site, ensuring exceptional service delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term retention.
• Implement operational strategies that support client objectives, drive performance, and contribute to profitable growth.
• Supervise team members, allocate resources, monitor operating standards, and develop new programs to enhance service offerings.
• Manage people, set direction, deploy resources; responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions.
• Influence and negotiate with parts of the organization to achieve results.
• Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.
• Lead multiple service operations with direct oversight and accountability.
• Influence strategy, service delivery, and overall client satisfaction.
