Operations Manager 1, Multi-Service

Sodexo Energy & Resources is hiring in Pascagoula, MS to support refinery shutdowns, turnarounds, facility operations, and facility site/land planning through hands-on logistics coordination.

About the role

Lead daily operations for two or more core service areas at a client site, ensuring exceptional service delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term retention. Implement operational strategies that support client objectives, drive performance, and contribute to profitable growth. Supervise team members, allocate resources, monitor operating standards, and develop new programs to enhance service offerings. The role focuses on completing specific tasks and projects as an individual contributor, performing specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Supports refinery operations by coordinating site logistics, including access, staging, material movement, temporary facilities, and traffic flow. Resolves logistical challenges, communicates updates, and maintains safety and compliance standards.

• Lead multiple service operations with direct oversight and accountability.
• Influence strategy, service delivery, and overall client satisfaction.
• Develop teams, improve operational performance, and strengthen service quality.
• Contribute to client retention, growth, and the expansion of service offerings.
• Manage budgets, drive initiatives, and enhance performance standards.
• Apply problem-solving skills to optimize daily operations and resource use.
• Establish operating standards, implement quality improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of management experience.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge across facilities management operations, including custodial, housekeeping, grounds, pest control, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Business and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Customer service expertise focused on relationship building and communication.
• Leadership skills to develop teams, delegate effectively, and maintain accountability.
• Proactive, resourceful approach to solving operational challenges and supporting daily functions.

Pay

$74,290 – $96,140 per year.
