About the role

Ryder is a leading provider in the transportation and logistics industry, established since 1933. This role is within the Customer Service Coordinator team, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer interface and proactive customer management.
  • Coordinate with the rental department to maximize utilization while maintaining lease customers.
  • Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased satisfaction.
  • Manage running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policies and processes are followed.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate Preventive Maintenance (PM) scheduling, breakdowns, and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • One to two years of customer service experience with issues resolution experience preferred.
  • Strong PC knowledge and skills, including spreadsheet and word processing software packages.
  • Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls, and metrics.

Compensation

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including relevant experience, education, work location, market data/ranges, internal equity, internal salary ranges, and more. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
