Operations Management Trainee
About the role
Ryder is a leading provider in the transportation and logistics industry, established since 1933. This role is within the Customer Service Coordinator team, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer interface and proactive customer management.
- Coordinate with the rental department to maximize utilization while maintaining lease customers.
- Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased satisfaction.
- Manage running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policies and processes are followed.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate Preventive Maintenance (PM) scheduling, breakdowns, and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- One to two years of customer service experience with issues resolution experience preferred.
- Strong PC knowledge and skills, including spreadsheet and word processing software packages.
- Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls, and metrics.

Compensation
