Responsibilities
- Structured, 12-month development experience combining formal training with immersive, hands-on field exposure.
- Equips participants with technical knowledge, business acumen, and leadership capabilities required to succeed in Schindler’s operational leadership roles.
- Gain practical experience in the field, developing a deep understanding of Schindler’s products, services, and customers.
- Work closely with Area, Territory, and local leadership, including a dedicated mentor, to learn how to effectively manage the maintenance and repair of elevators, escalators, and moving walks.
- Core focus areas include safety, product knowledge, resource planning, leadership, technician development, and financial acumen.
- The program is divided into three distinct phases with specific learning objectives set for each phase.
- Upon completion of the program, participants MUST be open to relocating to other locations within the local territory should a permanent, full-time Field Superintendent position not be available at their host training location near time of graduation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or other relevant field of study preferred.
- Candidates MUST be open to relocation (company-assisted) to select cities upon completion of the program.
- Previous military or other leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Prior work experience or internships in construction, service/maintenance or related industry a plus.
- Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills.

- Strong affinity for understanding technical/mechanical systems.

- Leadership capabilities required to succeed in Schindler’s operational leadership roles.
