Operations Leadership Development Program Intern

About the Role

An Internship in the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) places you in the center of some of the most dynamic areas of Siemens Healthineers' business operations. As a summer intern, you will work to learn and apply business skills in support of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and procurement. In the OLDP Internship, you interact with other OLDP Interns and full-time Associates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will have the opportunity to grow a network with senior managers within Operations. Your projects will work to increase efficiency and sustainability and while you learn daily operations to ensure production goals are met, improvements are made, and systems are managed.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to increase efficiency and sustainability
• Learn daily operations to ensure production goals are met, improvements are made, and systems are managed
• Develop an introductory understanding of the main process elements of Supply Chain
• Develop a network within and outside of the Supply Chain organization
• Receive mentoring from Siemens Healthineers' team of innovators
• Gain access to and network with senior decision-makers and key leaders
• Participate in learning workshops and training courses
• Engage in weekly and daily check-ins with site-specific Manager and Program Mentor
• Interact routinely with the OLDP Program Director
• Participate in networking events and one-on-ones with Operations senior management

Qualifications

• Rising undergraduate Seniors (current Juniors) pursuing a BS/BA from an accredited technical school, college, or university
• Expected graduation date before July 2028
• Ability to work on-site, 40 hours per week, from May to August
• Strong interest in working in a production environment
• Permanent work authorization in the U.S.
• Recommended minimum GPA: 3.0

Program Details

• Locations: East Walpole, MA; Elkhart, IN; and Glasgow (Newark) DE
• Duration: Approximately 12 weeks from late May/early July until early/mid-August 2027
• Schedule: On-site, 40 hours per week
• Relocation: Provided for candidates located greater than 50 miles from their assigned site
• Travel: Willingness to travel and relocation flexibility expected
• Full-time opportunity: Participants who complete the internship will be considered for the full-time Operations Leadership Development Program (a two-year rotational assignment) and other entry-level opportunities
