Operations Leader (Production Shift Supervisor)

Essential Functions

• Cook up and oversee the allocation of tasks and safety protocols for hourly employees.
• Ensure the proper functioning of equipment for quality control and availability of operational equipment for timely deliveries.
• Report equipment breakdowns and repair needs to maintenance as they arise.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external support staff for efficient mill activity coordination.
• Conduct prompt responses to safety issues and proactively identify potential safety concerns.
• Maintain vigilance over safety programs.

Basic Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal or informal experience leading a union-represented hourly workforce.
• An associate's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Previous experience in EAF and AOD processes is preferred.
