Responsibilities

• Pet First: Uphold Petco's animal care standards, ensuring the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals.
• Foster the Fun: Promote a safe, welcoming environment for pets, pet parents, and partners. Follow all policies and procedures related to animal welfare, safety, and store operations.
• Let’s Go!: Support daily store operations including sales, task execution, and recovery. Execute merchandising standards, assist with inventory activities, and process transactions, refunds, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions.
• Reliable, responsible, and detail oriented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Leadership and supervisory experience.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Mathematics and cash handling experience.
