Operations Lead - TS/SCI w/ Poly

Our work depends on an Operations Lead joining our team who has at least 8+ experience in IT disciplines in the area of operations, analysis and virtual operations to support customer requirements. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
Responsibilities
As an Operations Lead, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee all operations teams (storage, systems admins, monitoring) ensuring continuous service availability that includes after-hours and weekend support to operations
- Plan and mobilize resources to support mission operations, incidents, outages, or active operations
- Host Technical Exchange Meetings with Sponsor stakeholders and incumbents to review mission schedules to ensure that any planned releases do not interfere with mission activities
- Lead knowledge discovery, transfer, staffing and onboarding of Operations personnel, and operational readiness
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong ability to work with leadership team to plan and execute tactical and strategic efforts
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate experienced technical staff

- Demonstrated planning and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions
- Demonstrated ability to clearly report relevant information
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning/roadmap development and execution for operations
- MS Office suite
- A bachelor’s degree in an IT or engineering related field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in an IT or engineering field, candidates may substitute with four (4) years of demonstrated experience in IT disciplines.
- Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in IT disciplines, of which at least five (3) years are as a technical lead
- TS/SCI with SCI Poly clearance
Qualifications
Desired qualifications include:
- A master’s degree in an IT or engineering related field
- Demonstrated expertise with mission support systems
- Demonstrated experience in IT process improvement through software automation process
- Demonstrated experience with on-premise data centers, cloud services, and edge computing
- Demonstrated experience with deploying systems accredited at an INT-C level

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
