Operations Lead - TS/SCI w/ Poly

About the role

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as an Operations Lead at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Here, your work will have meaning and impact as you deliver your best every day.

Our work depends on an Operations Lead joining our team who has at least 8+ experience in IT disciplines in the area of operations, analysis and virtual operations to support customer requirements. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

As an Operations Lead, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee all operations teams (storage, systems admins, monitoring) ensuring continuous service availability that includes after-hours and weekend support to operations
• Plan and mobilize resources to support mission operations, incidents, outages, or active operations
• Host Technical Exchange Meetings with Sponsor stakeholders and incumbents to review mission schedules to ensure that any planned releases do not interfere with mission activities
• Lead knowledge discovery, transfer, staffing and onboarding of Operations personnel, and operational readiness

Requirements

• Demonstrated planning and organization skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions
• Demonstrated ability to clearly report relevant information
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning/roadmap development and execution for operations
• MS Office suite
• A bachelor’s degree in an IT or engineering related field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in an IT or engineering field, candidates may substitute with four (4) years of demonstrated experience in IT disciplines.
• Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in IT disciplines, of which at least five (3) years are as a technical lead
• TS/SCI with SCI Poly clearance

Qualifications

Desired qualifications include:

• A master’s degree in an IT or engineering related field
• Demonstrated expertise with mission support systems
• Demonstrated experience in IT process improvement through software automation process
• Demonstrated experience with on-premise data centers, cloud services, and edge computing
• Demonstrated experience with deploying systems accredited at an INT-C level

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
