Operations Lead - Regulated Trading

For our client, we are seeking a Operations Lead - Regulated Trading to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will own the operational backbone of a regulated trading environment, with responsibility for trade flow, reconciliations, margin processes, and account lifecycle management. The position will partner closely with Compliance, Risk, and vendor teams to strengthen controls, support regulatory readiness, and ensure accurate day-to-day execution. As the business scales, this person will help shape procedures, governance, and team structure to support growth in a fast-moving setting. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Own end-to-end trade flow, ensuring accurate data capture and booking Run daily reconciliations for trades, positions, and cash, resolving discrepancies Manage margin processing and coordinate with Risk for customer liquidations Operate cash flows across fiat and stablecoin, ensuring compliance with controls Oversee account lifecycle from KYC/AML approval to operational escalations Maintain relationships with vendors, managing SLAs and incident responses Develop and document procedures, controls, and governance for operations Qualifications 6+ years in futures/clearing operations Hands-on experience with trade flow from execution to reporting Deep knowledge of position management and margin processes Familiarity with FCM obligations and customer fund segregation Clean regulatory record with no disciplinary history Strong skills in process and control design Data fluency in SQL or advanced Excel Benefits Opportunity to build and lead a team as volume grows Engagement with cross-functional teams including Compliance and Risk Autonomy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Chance to shape operational procedures and governance Involvement in regulatory interactions and compliance processes Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
