Operations Internships - Winter/Spring 2027
About the role
The Boring Company seeks interns who will be given responsibilities similar to those of full-time employees. Ownership is a core value at The Boring Company, and interns are expected to take ownership of their projects.
Responsibilities
Support project development by identifying, tracking, and pursuing project leads, assisting with proposal preparation and marketing materials.
Analyze supplier and spend data, communicate with suppliers, purchase direct and/or indirect goods or services, and support various projects such as creating and implementing new processes.
Facilitate invoice processing, daily transaction reconciliation, and monthly close process (Accounting), and support budget tracking and management, performing spend analysis to generate insights (Finance).
Liaise between management and team members for scheduling and coordinating active construction and facilities projects.
Conduct research on business and legal issues, support the deal-making process from start to finish, including structuring the business model and negotiating contracts.
Requirements
Completed or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Preferred skills and experiences include:
Experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business development.
Experience supporting a team in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Ability to act urgently and communicate often and clearly.
Superior organizational skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously.
