We are looking for an Operations Intern to join our team at our Lansing location. Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the company’s quality policies, values, and philosophies.
- Help facilitate team member training, including onboarding, on-the-job training, and creating or modifying training content.
- Adhere to Quality philosophies and policies.
- Audit compliance to the versatility matrix, direct labor performance evaluations, and similar processes.
- Actively participate in daily 5S activities.
- Drive safety culture and promote safety as a personal value.
- Comply with all national, local, and Company policies and regulations.
- Assist with audit processes to identify gaps in policies and procedures and implement corrective actions for nonconformities (PVS, SOT, 5S).
- Validate daily operational documents.
- Participate in engagement activities.
- Actively participate in staffing and scheduling activities.
- Be a collaborative partner and actively communicate with all departments within the facility.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year or equivalent in an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Previous work experience preferred.
- Highly experienced in Microsoft Office suite.
