Responsibilities
- Cook up and conduct Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training
- Keep current training content updated with industry reports, NRC bulletins, and regulatory changes
- Carry out trainee evaluations, offer counseling, and craft individualized training plans
- Back up fleet initiatives, outage support, emergency preparedness, and special projects
- Participate in audits, keep training records, and address audit findings
- Perform related duties like emergency response and outage support as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree with 4 years, or a bachelor's degree with 2 years in power plant operations or related fields
- Meet or exceed ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standards
- Maintain necessary security and medical clearances
- Preferred: experience in nuclear training, knowledge of systematic training approaches, and licensure such as SRO
