Job Description
The co-op/intern will assist the Operations Engineering Team with creating clear and detailed procedure documents for usage by production technicians, helping engineers with identifying the root-cause of an issue while also being able to develop robust solutions to prevent recurrence. Assist engineers with identifying inefficiencies in production processes and be able to propose & implement solutions that will lead to improvements.
Qualifications
- Report into and support the assigned Operations Engineering Team
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering and Quality Engineering
- Main responsibilities include:
- Work with Cross Functional Teams to help solve production engineering issues
- Assist with troubleshooting and failure isolation
- Implement and update manufacturing process documents
- Assist with returning failed products to suppliers through our RTV process
- Participate in data collection failure analysis studies
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Python programming
- Statistical analysis tools
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Passion for Manufacturing Engineering Process
- Previous Co-Op/Internship Experience or Previous Work Experience
