Operations Engineering Co-Op/Intern

Job Description

The co-op/intern will assist the Operations Engineering Team with creating clear and detailed procedure documents for usage by production technicians, helping engineers with identifying the root-cause of an issue while also being able to develop robust solutions to prevent recurrence. Assist engineers with identifying inefficiencies in production processes and be able to propose & implement solutions that will lead to improvements.

Qualifications

• Report into and support the assigned Operations Engineering Team
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering and Quality Engineering
• Main responsibilities include:
• Work with Cross Functional Teams to help solve production engineering issues
• Assist with troubleshooting and failure isolation
• Implement and update manufacturing process documents
• Assist with returning failed products to suppliers through our RTV process
• Participate in data collection failure analysis studies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering

• Previous Co-Op/Internship Experience or Previous Work Experience
