About the role

Design and implement complex high-volume direct-to-consumer fulfillment processes, systems and facilities for capacity expansion and continuous improvement of worldwide fulfillment infrastructure throughout the large-scale supply chain network that increases critical-to-quality (CTQ) business needs by improving integration of people, materials, equipment, software, and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects using MS Excel, AutoCad and MS Project
  • Work with complex Material Handling Systems, packaging equipment and other processing gear to design safe and efficient fulfillment processes
  • Use Process Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and/or Kaizen to analyze Fulfillment Center processes and equipment and recommend and implement improvements to safety procedures, work processes and labor standards
  • Lead and coordinate design efforts between internal teams and outside vendors to develop optimal solutions for the network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, and site layout
  • Manage capital projects and create conceptual drawings, equipment specifications and bid documentation to facilitate a competitive bid environment
  • Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors
  • Inspect facilities in accordance with corporate standards and procedures relating to material handling, processing and storage
  • Develop and manage budget and contract documents including Requests for Proposals, change order controls, purchase orders and invoicing
  • Coordinate with local site management to ensure proper operator training, procedural compliance, maintenance and safety practices are followed for new and existing equipment
  • Domestic travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Master's degree and two years of experience
  • Two years of experience in each of the following skills:
    • Managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects
    • Implementing automated equipment or integrated systems
    • Using CAD software

Pay

  • Salary Range: $127,982 - $161,700 per year
  • Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package
  • Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered

Schedule

40 hours / week, 8:00am - 5:00pm
