Operations Engineer
The Role
Fulfillment pipeline: Own end-to-end delivery operations, from order creation and tracking through final delivery, including managing delivery schedules and resolving exceptions across our active markets and delivery partners.
Inventory management: Track units across their full lifecycle (deployed, in transit, in reserve, damaged, or awaiting refurbishment) and maintain an accurate, real-time picture of the fleet.
Operations automation: Build the databases, scripts, and API integrations that automate fulfillment, inventory tracking, and other core operational workflows, replacing manual work as we scale.
Visibility and optimization: Build the dashboards and metrics (on-time delivery rates, cost per unit delivered, failure root causes) that let us measure and continuously improve operational cost and reliability.
Process design: Translate ad-hoc operational requirements into documented, automated, and repeatable systems as the company scales.
Market expansion: Design and stand up operations in new markets (such as Massachusetts and Nantucket), including evaluating regional partners and adapting playbooks for new geographies.
