About the role

Work independently with internal and external engineering teams to successfully deliver cross-functional projects that are high-quality (e.g., on-time, on-budget, maintainable, low-defects, etc.). Partner with project managers and external vendors to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet deadlines. Influence technical documentation content, perform documentation review, and dive deep into system layouts and solutions. Represent system and/or equipment designs to both customers and other teams. Communicate project status, answer project questions in detail, and produce clear, concise summaries for leadership and management. Develop strong working relationships with vendors, engineers, managers, and peers.

Participate in design reviews and support execution efforts between internal teams and outside vendors, including equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout. Manage budget documents, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing. Build relationships with FC/SC leadership and operations teams across multiple sites, as well as Launch, Facilities, Finance, Safety, Process Engineers, and other stakeholders. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives for operations teams within a geographic node.

Up to 50% domestic travel required.

Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Biological) or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the same fields and seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the same roles is acceptable.

Must have three years of experience in:

• Managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects
• Implementing automated equipment or integrated systems
• Using CAD software including AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Pay

Salary range: $113,651 – $145,600 per year.
