Operations Director - Application Development

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Operations Director - Application Development to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This leader will oversee global application development operations that support a complex, compliance-driven environment. The role is responsible for guiding technical teams, stabilizing enterprise applications, and ensuring application services align with business needs across functions and locations. You will also partner closely with stakeholders to improve delivery, governance, and continuous improvement across the application landscape. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for global application development teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 14 years of direct experience
• 12+ years in IT operations or application development management
• Strong leadership experience managing technical teams and complex application landscapes
• Expertise in SAP ECC and HANA, with a focus on compliance-driven environments
• Experience in governance and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration

Pay

$186,200 – $353,800 annually
