This entry-level role supports the implementation of ICF’s utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs, with a focus on commercial building systems and energy-efficient technologies. The Operations Coordinator ensures efficient and effective management of energy and environmental programs by identifying opportunities for process improvements, sharing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position offers opportunities to build technical and consulting skills, gain exposure to major initiatives, and contribute to impactful energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the energy efficiency team to ensure the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed.
- Develop and share best practices across the team and organization.
- Collaborate with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care teams.
- Conduct analyses to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with processing incoming project applications.
- Review project application forms and submittals to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures.
- Assign project applications for further processing and review per program policies and procedures.
- Assist with customer and contractor inquiries.
- Coordinate quality control follow-up on project inspections and customer surveys as appropriate.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong time management, communication, and organization skills.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with demonstrated experience in Excel.
- Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the utility market (specifically energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs and markets).
- Experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tool).
- Experience with advanced Microsoft data software such as SharePoint Lists and Power Automate Bot and Third-Party Applications.
Pay
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $50,364.00 - $85,618.00.
