About the role

As an Operations Controlling Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization by providing accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting.

You will be responsible for monitoring budgets, forecasting financial performance, and identifying variances to support strategic decision-making. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to gather data, analyze trends, and implement effective cost control measures. Your insights will directly influence business planning and resource allocation, helping to optimize profitability and sustain growth. Ultimately, you will serve as a key partner in driving financial discipline and transparency across the company.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or financial analysis roles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Strong knowledge of cycle counts, manufacturing variance analysis, financial reporting standards, and budgeting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel and SAP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must have a high level of moral and ethical codes

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing corporation or complex organizational environment.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and internal control frameworks.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP is essential for managing large datasets and automating routine tasks, which increases accuracy and productivity.
  • Analytical skills are used daily to interpret financial trends, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions that support business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills facilitate collaboration with various departments and ensure that complex financial information is accessible to non-financial colleagues.
  • Preferred skills such as data visualization and advanced certifications further enhance the ability to provide insightful, strategic financial guidance and improve decision-making processes.
