About the role

The Global Continuous Improvement and Systems Enablement Lead supports the Global Director, Continuous Improvement & System Enablement function by partnering with global data center operations teams to identify system needs, gather requirements, support application usage, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between operational stakeholders and the Director responsible for global systems and innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with global operations teams to understand business processes, system needs, and workflow challenges.
  • Collect, document, and clarify enhancement requests or issues from users and business leaders.
  • Prioritize user requests based on impact, urgency, and alignment with the global operational strategy.
  • Serve as a liaison between the operations teams and the Senior Manager for Systems Solutions & Innovations, providing summarized updates and actionable insights.
  • Participate in process mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Aid in creating system documentation, release notes, training materials, and communication for global stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups (operations, engineering, IT, support teams) to ensure smooth system rollouts and alignment of changes.
  • Track progress of system improvements and maintain visibility of roadmap commitments and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize systems and workflows to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and user experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years experience and Strong understanding of data center operations or similar mission-critical operational environments.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use multiple software applications.
  • Skilled in documenting data flows, data models, and system/process interactions using both technical writing and non-technical write ups.
  • Experience with relational data structures, CMDB, or operational modules (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Solid analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience gathering requirements and documenting processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams, cultures, and time zones.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with CMMS platforms, workflow management tools, or operations-focused systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to system configuration, UAT testing, or release management.
  • Project coordination or light project management experience.
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities (e.g., dashboards, KPI tracking).
  • Experience supporting global or multi-site operational teams.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose technology-driven solutions.
  • Transferable managerial skills, team load balancing.
  • Experience delivering large-scale global data or system initiatives.
