About the Role

This position focuses on training and implementing continuous improvement across the organization using lean manufacturing methods, including training sessions, workshops, projects, and ongoing initiatives. The role has a system-wide impact and embeds Integer’s values—Customer, Innovation, Collaboration, Inclusion, Candor, and Integrity—into all activities.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including QMS, FDA regulations, company policies, and other regulatory standards.
  • Lead transformational business process improvements.
  • Act as a lean expert, providing recommendations and influencing senior plant management on lean approaches.
  • Work with the plant’s leadership team to perform gap assessments, create current and future state value stream maps, develop lean improvement plans, and establish schedules.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through kaizen events and implement lean tools (cellular flow, line balancing, standard work, 5S, material and information flow, total productive maintenance, quick change-over).
  • Provide ongoing communication to Plant and Senior Management on Lean initiatives, including progress reports.
  • Ensure workshop activities address Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost requirements.
  • Collaborate with Black Belts and other continuous improvement team members to define cost-saving and lean projects that enhance the value stream.
  • Drive site-wide awareness and culture toward continuous improvement.
  • Establish best practices for the business and work with global operations to calibrate and standardize lean implementation.
  • Lead lean material flow and optimize materials management using lean tools.
  • Support new model launches.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and facilitation on Lean and Six Sigma tools; implement the Integer production system.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Four-year degree in a technical discipline (Industrial Engineering preferred). Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong computer and presentation skills.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Lean Diagnosis and Lean Manufacturing, including time studies, value stream mapping, pull systems, problem-solving, and 5S.
