Operations Consulting, Senior Analyst or Associate
Primary day-to-day responsibilities
Support engagement teams under the direction of senior firm leadership, serving corporate clients and private equity firms and their portfolio companies while building executive presence with C-suite management teams.
Identify clients’ most important operational issues and apply advanced analytics and process expertise to develop practical, high-impact solutions.
Produce clear, high-quality written deliverables that communicate findings and recommendations to client management and executive leadership.
Contribute to business development by helping shape and present proposals for new engagements.
Take on additional responsibilities as engagements require, including mentoring junior analysts and helping steward the firm’s operations methodologies and IP.
Preferred qualifications
- A 2 to 5 years of operational improvement experience within a manufacturing or operations environment
- A four-year degree, ideally in engineering, operations management, supply chain management, business, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification or the ability to earn it shortly after joining
- Familiarity with core financial statements and return-on-investment analysis, and an understanding of how labor, material, and operating expenses affect profitability
- Proficiency in Generative AI Tools, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, with experience in analytical or data-visualization tools such as R, Tableau, or Power BI considered an advantage
- A self-motivated, accurate, and highly organized working style, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and consistently deliver exceptional quality on time
