About the role
The Operations Consultant II supports the New Jersey market, managing and growing a portfolio of independent physician practices. They are responsible for driving performance, improving financial transparency, and transitioning practices to value-based care.
Responsibilities
- Manage and own a portfolio of independent physician practices
- Develop and implement action plans to improve physician practices' revenue and performance
- Track and manage metrics related to finance, revenue cycle, productivity, clinical performance, and customer experience
- Mentor and coach practice administrators
- Roll out and communicate new Privia initiatives
- Streamline practice workflow to improve patient throughput and efficiency
- Assess and advise on financial performance and areas of improvement for physician practices
- Effectively present relevant health care topics
- Provide top-notch customer service to ensure issues are resolved and clients are satisfied
- Oversee and mentor assigned performance associates
- Travel throughout assigned territory on a regular basis (70%)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, Healthcare Master’s or MBA highly preferred
- 5+ years of healthcare experience, particularly working with physicians and medical group staff
- Experience working with a health system preferred
- Quantitatively and financially proficient; ability to read, interpret, and explain financial data
- Comfort in independently making decisions and building cases for change
- Project management experience, able to handle multiple projects and urgent deliverables
- Understanding of Population Health Management and its application to risk-based contracts
- Access to reliable transportation

Benefits
Salary range: $108,000 to $135,000 in base pay, with an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units. Eligible for expense reimbursement for remote work.
