Onsite: 3 days a week
Contract: 6 months‑18 months with potential to convert to permanent

About the role
Wells Fargo is building a Citizen Developer capability within Institutional Investment Banking Operations and is seeking an Operations Automation Consultant to support a growing automation pipeline. This role is focused on designing and building automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce manual effort across operational processes. Candidates should have hands‑on experience developing solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Power Apps, or Xceptor and be able to discuss specific automation projects they have personally built. The team is prioritizing technical problem‑solvers who can quickly learn the business and begin delivering solutions immediately.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience building automation solutions
- Experience with Alteryx, Power Apps, or Xceptor
- Ability to develop workflow automation and process improvements
- Strong problem‑solving and technical mindset
- Experience delivering solutions independently
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Pluses)
- Xceptor experience
- Tableau experience
- Capital Markets or Investment Banking Operations background
- Experience with reconciliations, settlements, funding, custody, or operations
- Process improvement experience
