Operations Auditor
What's a typical day as an Operations Auditor?
- Performing routine quality control audits and reviews across various operational functions such as claims, membership, customer service/call center, workflow and processing support systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Recognizing and documenting potential fraud and abuse situations, and providing feedback or coaching to operations and training areas regarding errors, ensuring that targeted additional training can be initiated.
- Compiling data to generate reports for operational areas, communicating recommendations for improvements to training materials, documenting findings and preparing recommendations for process enhancements.
- Aiding in the development and documentation of new training materials and procedures, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of guidelines and work instructions.
Requirements
- A minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in quality control auditing, preferably in departmental operations such as claims processing or call center environments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Comfortable providing feedback and coaching to colleagues or new hires.
- Willingness to work under direct supervision and motivated to help ensure quality standards are met and exceeded.
