Key Responsibilities
- Complex Problem Solving, Process Design, & Optimization
- Design and optimize core workflows for eligibility checks, benefit verifications, and prior authorizations
- Work with engineering to identify areas of opportunity for automation in operational processes, and use cutting-edge technology and apply AI-first solutions to automate key workflows
- Create SOPs that ensure consistent, accurate task completion across our operations team
- Configure rules and frameworks for accomplishing tasks both automatically and manually
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead our team of insurance specialists, providing guidance and ensuring operational excellence
- Partner with engineering to identify automation opportunities and design scalable systems
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to align on goals and achieve shared outcomes
Data & Systems Thinking
- Build robust tracking systems that provide visibility into operational performance
- Analyze data to develop strategies for accelerating progress and achieving team OKRs
- Identify areas for improvement and drive execution of solutions that address core business challenges
What Sets You Apart
- Experience & Skills
- 1-4+ years of experience in operations, consulting, or related fields—experience with insurance workflows or healthcare operations is a plus but not necessary
- Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes in complex and ambiguous environments
- Strong experience creating processes that scale with growing organizations
- Project management skills with a track record of leading initiatives from concept to execution
- Data-driven approach with ability to analyze workflows and identify inefficiencies
