OPERATIONS

About the Role

Assist in the entire cleaning of the RVC facilities indoors and outdoors as needed. Support the maintenance staff and help maintain a daily checklist of tasks. This position may also be asked to assist in other areas of RVC, working as part of a team to provide superior service.

Responsibilities

• Gather and launder towels and deliver towels to Front Desk and pool area
• Clean mirrors, windows, and doors throughout the Club
• Dry mop, vacuum, and wash floors in studios, offices, halls, tennis, and locker rooms
• Refill and stock shower soaps, conditioners, shampoo, Q-tips, and other amenities
• Replenish paper products (toilet paper, paper towel, paper cups, etc.)
• Remove trash and recyclables and bring to dumpsters
• Shovel and salt walkways
• Dust all surfaces
• Assist in training new hires
• Conduct pool testing as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to reach forward and up overhead
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 2 miles a day
• Tolerance for variation in loud noise
• Ability to kneel, stoop, and bend
• Ability to climb ramps and ladders
• Ability to talk and hear
• Use of hands and fingers
• Ability to push up to 35 pounds regularly
