Operations Associate (Part-Time) - Fashion Island

The Operations Associate plays a crucial role in the store team, focusing on driving profitability and efficiency. This position works closely with the Operations & Visual Management team to execute various operational functions.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Execute inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce losses
• Investigate and resolve inventory accuracy issues, collaborating with the General/Store Manager to address process or system gaps
• Support key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management
• Maintain and enhance visual standards for the sales floor
• Work collaboratively with reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to maintain and maximize operations
• Create a safe and efficient work environment through adherence to strong stockroom standards and processes
• Maintain dynamic presence on the retail floor to meet business, team, and guest needs
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives, working in partnership with the Operations & Visual Management team
• Assist in managing shipment and ensuring product flow, including visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment excellence
• Demonstrate strong business acumen by using metrics to support business-driving strategies
• Resolve client needs promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs to support business goals

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant work experience in a client-centric, sales & operational environment
• Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
• Standing and moving for an entire shift required
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team
• Alignment with and embodiment of ALO’s Guiding Principles

Schedule

• Part-Time: Up to 30 hours per week, based on business needs, with a minimum shift of 4 hours
• Full-Time: Open availability, 7 days a week, between 32 - 40 hours
• All employees must be available during the company's Blackout period, from American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season

Pay

• Base pay ranges from $18.00- $20.00/hour in Newport Beach, CA
• Eligible for participation in the Company’s Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, potentially bringing total compensation to a higher range
