Operations Associate, Baltimore

Fixed-term position with the Techstars Baltimore team from August – December, 2026.

About the role

The Operations Associate supports administrative duties and operational execution throughout the Techstars Baltimore accelerator program. You will assist with day-to-day operations, ensuring all needs of the program and its cohort are met. Working closely with the program team, you’ll help build an incredible experience for founders, tackling any task—big or small—with flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Techstars founders and plan activities, meetings, and events that drive their success.
• Execute program operations, including scheduling, coordinating with speakers, managing logistics for in-person programming, and placing orders for materials.
• Coordinate mentor scheduling and manage the mentor-founder matching process.
• Follow best practices and execute the outlined content and curriculum of the program.
• Support event planning and own operational aspects of executing events, including in-person program trips and the end-of-program Demo Day.
• Manage the program’s LinkedIn page by posting updates and highlighting founder successes.
• Occasionally support the Managing Director with special projects, such as investor network communications and founder business development.
• Represent Techstars in the local community, both actively and passively.

Requirements

• 1–3 years in a fast-paced project or program management role.
• Strong interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
• Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience.
• Experience in event planning and logistics.
• Comfortable with varied responsibilities and minimal direction but high expectations.
• Alignment with Techstars culture: people-oriented, adaptable, supportive, and creative.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and currently living in the Baltimore area.

Pay

$3,000 – $3,500/month.
