Primary Responsibilities
- Support the purchasing function by assisting with purchase order processing, supplier communications, and procurement record keeping
- Aid in quality management system documentation including maintaining records, tracking corrective actions, and supporting audit preparation
- Support proposal and business development activities including organizing proposal materials, tracking submission deadlines, and coordinating inputs from technical teams
- Help maintain accurate and organized records across purchasing, quality, and business development functions
- Cook up with internal teams to gather information, track action items, and ensure deadlines are met
- Support operations leadership with administrative and coordination tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in an operations, administrative, or business support role — or equivalent education and experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Genuine interest in learning defense business operations across multiple functional areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, or related field — or equivalent professional experience
- Familiarity with purchasing, procurement, or supply chain processes
- Exposure to quality management systems or ISO/AS9100 standards
- Experience supporting proposals, contracts, or government procurement processes
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments
