Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to join our growing team. This individual will work across investment operations, fund accounting, and general financial administration. The ideal candidate comes from a hedge fund, asset manager, accounting/fund admin, or family office and is comfortable wearing multiple hats while delivering exceptional accuracy and service. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily investment operations including cash management, reconciliations, and reporting.Assist with fund accounting activities: Monthly reporting, performance calculations, and year-end preparation.Contribute to management company operations, including accounts payable, budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis.Liaise with external managers, administrators, brokers, custodians, and service providers.Maintain and enhance firm reporting via Microsoft Excel and other software-based reporting Support financial and accounting functions for the private foundation, including grant tracking and assistance in preparation for annual filings.Assist with internal controls, process improvements, and documentation of operational workflows.Uphold strict confidentiality and ensure professionalism in all internal and external interactions. Qualifications3–5 years of relevant experience in a hedge fund, asset manager, accounting firm, fund admin, or family office.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.Strong understanding of investment operations and fund accounting concepts.Product knowledge exposure (equities, options, and fixed income).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building and maintaining complex worksheets.Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Ability to thrive in a high-paced, growing environment while maintaining accuracy and discretion.
