About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations and Business Analyst to assess the efficiency of company operations, identify opportunities for improvement and transform data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze and visualize data from multiple sources, build dashboards and reports and collaborate with stakeholders to improve business performance. This position reports to the President with a dotted line to the CFO.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean and analyze structured and unstructured data from various sources
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports and scorecards
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and data models
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to design, prepare and interpret KPIs and performance metrics
  • Automate recurring reports and improve data workflows
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
  • Present insights and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner
  • Support ad hoc analysis and data-driven problem solving
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline. In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a business analyst role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google BigQuery, Snowflake)
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Experience working with large datasets and APIs
  • Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies
