Responsibilities
- Provides operational analysis supporting a U.S. Navy customer with advanced modeling, evaluations, and mission analysis.
- Apply operations research techniques to improve coordination and management of organizational resources.
- Analyze issues related to strategy, planning, forecasting, scheduling, supply chain management, and performance measurement.
- Gather operational data and select appropriate analytical techniques such as simulation, linear programming, dynamic programming, or stochastic modeling.
- Develop mathematical models to describe systems and evaluate alternative scenarios.
- Provide recommendations based on analytical findings to support government decision-making.
- Prepare senior-level briefings and analytic reports.
- Mentor junior analysts.
Requirements
- 10+ years of operations research experience.
- Experience with Navy-based operations is preferred.
- A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical field.
