- Pay Rate $21.01 (already covered)
- Southwest Airlines is an Equal Opportunity Employer. (EEO boilerplate - remove)
- Please print/save this job description because it won't be available after you apply. (application instruction - remove)
- Job Posting End Date 09/25/2026 (metadata - maybe drop or short p)
We need to remove boilerplate: EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove navigation/cookie/legal.
We need to keep substantive info: company promise, role description, eligibility (Nebraska resident, not interviewed etc), pay, benefits, responsibilities, knowledge/skills/abilities, education, experience, licensing/certification, physical abilities, other qualifications (citizenship, age, appearance, attendance, shift work, foreign language desirable), schedule info (part-time, 32 hours over 5 days, training, shift details, CBA, seniority, overtime, etc). Also maybe include "About the role" covering company promise and role description.
We need to decide sections: Could combine some.
Possible sections:
- About the role (company promise + role description + maybe eligibility? Could be separate "Requirements" for eligibility.)
- Responsibilities (list)
- Requirements (could include eligibility, education, experience, licensing, physical abilities, other qualifications? But we have separate headings for Qualifications, Skills, etc. The instruction says use headings for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can map:
- About the role: company promise + role overview (maybe also eligibility? but eligibility is more requirement.)
- Responsibilities: list of duties.
- Requirements: maybe eligibility (Nebraska resident, not interviewed, citizenship, age, etc). Could also include education (no requirement) and experience (preferred). But we also have Qualifications and Skills sections.
- Qualifications: maybe licensing/certification, physical abilities, other qualifications (appearance, attendance, shift work, foreign language). Could also include knowledge, skills, abilities? Actually Knowledge, Skills And Abilities is a separate list; could go under Skills.
- Skills: knowledge, skills, abilities list.
- Benefits: list of benefits.
- Pay: pay rate and increase info, overtime, shift premiums.
- Schedule: part-time details, training, shift length, CBA, seniority, overtime, etc.
We need to avoid empty sections. Ensure each heading has substantive content.
We must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown.
Let's craft.
First, About the role: include company promise paragraph and role overview paragraph (the "Looking for a role where you help flights take off safely..." paragraph). Also maybe include the eligibility about Nebraska resident and not interviewed? That seems more like a requirement. We'll put that in Requirements.
Responsibilities: we need to output each duty as
- . The responsibilities list is long; we need to capture each bullet. The text after "Responsibilities" includes many sentences separated by line breaks? It's a paragraph with many duties separated by spaces? Actually it's a paragraph with many duties separated by spaces and maybe line breaks. We need to split into items. We can approximate by splitting at each sentence that starts with a verb? But we need to preserve ALL substantive information; we cannot invent or summarize away detail. We need to output each duty as separate
- but we must not lose any detail. The original text is a long paragraph with many duties separated by spaces but no explicit bullet markers. We need to convert to list items while preserving all info. We could keep as a single
but instruction says use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we need to make a list. We need to parse the responsibilities text into logical items.
Let's extract responsibilities text:
